Sphere Issue 8 is now complete! I am proud to announce my participation in the Sphere Archive. Sphere Archive is an image archive project focused on collecting and presenting original material by artists who use abstract modes in their work. Sphere aims to create a shared space for experimentation and reflection, bringing together a diverse, international community of artists. The Sphere Archive was presented at the 2024 Melbourne Art Book Fair at Castlemaine Art Museum.
I created four paintings, using a camera like a brush, brushing from one side of the surface to the other. Creating strokes of light captured as a greyscale afterimage from the original four paintings, hoping to impart a particular mood or atmosphere.
